Bring Me Roses, 2018. Donated to Gidget Foundation for art auction, with proceeds contributing to support the foundation in their efforts to raise awareness of perinatal anxiety and depression.
Gidget Foundation
Gidget Foundation Australia is a not for profit organisation supporting the emotional wellbeing of expectant and new parents to ensure that those in need receive timely, appropriate and supportive care.
In 2018 they held the annual Gidget Ladies’ Lunch. A fully subscribed event consisting of around 1,500 community supporters, it traditionally sells out in one day. Held each year close to Mother’s Day, the event is the Gidget Foundation’s major fundraiser. I was able to contribute “Bring Me Roses”, painted in ink and pastel, to assist in raising funds to support the Foundation’s programs.
Against The Current, 2018. Part of the inaugural Art for Hamlin auction, which raises funds to assist Dr Catherine Hamlin eradicate fistula forever and restore the lives of some of the world's most marginalized women.
Catherine Hamlin Fistula Foundation
Dr Catherine Hamlin’s work for obstetric fistula sufferers in Ethiopia continued uninterrupted for more than half a century, with more than 60,000 patients treated. When I learnt of this foundation, and it’s efforts to eradicate fistula forever, I knew I wanted to be involved.
The Hamlin Art Exhibition was held in 2018, with 100% of proceeds supporting the Catherine Hamlin Fistula Foundation. We celebrated the women of Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia, through art and were able to raise funds for the Foundation. I was able to contribute through the sale of “Against The Current”,
‘With Justice We Can Fly’, 2017 finalist for Just Art Prize. Just Art raises much-needed funds for Bara Barang Corporation Ltd, the 2017 charity of choice for The Law Society of NSW.

All works in this exhibition were created on the theme of "justice". Each artist has approached the theme with their own perspective, creating a unique collection of visions of the human condition.
Just Art also aims to help address one of the most pressing problems facing our society. We must work together to eradicate the disadvantages faced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Discrimination and deprivation continue, including through the overrepresentation of Indigenous people in our prisons.
Just Art raises much-needed funds for Bara Barang Corporation Ltd, the 2017 charity of choice for The Law Society of NSW. Bara Barang is an Aboriginal Corporation on the Central Coast that provides programs, events, training and services to engage Aboriginal people and youth. Empowering communities and eradicating disadvantage is key to improving school retention rates, promoting vocational learning and employment opportunities and helping Indigenous people transform prejudice to leadership in justice.
